City South Tram Line Replacement - Major works starting Sunday 7 July

Major construction works for the project are scheduled to commence from 1am, Sunday, 7 July. Construction will be undertaken 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will take up to three weeks to complete, weather permitting.The timeframe will coincide with school holidays and university holidays, targeting a period when traffic demand in the CBD is generally lower. During this time, there will be a reduced speed limit of 25km/h on King William Street between Victoria Square and South Terrace. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
