Approximately 400 people attended the official opening of the new Oaklands station. The special event included market stalls, entertainment, kids’ activities and guided tours of the project site.

This project has delivered important solutions across a number of levels, including first-class customer facilities, improved safety for all road users and the easing of traffic congestion as a result of lowering the rail line under the road and removing the level crossing at the intersection of Morphett and Diagonal Roads.
