After years of waiting, local residents saw works start at Oaklands Crossing including the set-up of the PTPA site compound on Dwyer Reserve, installation of construction fencing, construction of permanent and temporary car parks, removal of two billboards, vegetation clearance, and demolition of the former scout hall. All these works pave the way for bridgeworks in July and major excavation works that started in spring.
