During May 2022 the PTP Alliance invited Urban and Regional Planning students from Uni SA to visit the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal site and speak with PTP Alliance staff about the planning and delivery of the project. Students got to experience first-hand the key design, transport engineering, project management and urban planning considerations that go into developing major transport projects.

Henry Harch from PTP Alliance gave an engaging presentation explaining how level crossing removal projects are generally approached and some of the unique challenges at this location that the team have addressed. Following questions from the students, PTP Alliance staff lead the group around the project area to see how the project is being delivered.
