The Ovingham Railway Station refresh will improve the user experience and station access. It will include:

• new shelters, seating and bins;
• improved fencing, platforms and access paths;
• improved communication equipment and lighting;
• new Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV); and
• landscaping and new on-street carparks along Devonport Terrace.

Upcoming works

For the remainder of April and May 2022, construction works will be undertaken at the Ovingham Railway Station.

Activities will include:

• delivery of materials and machinery to the area;
• excavation of ground material via vacuum trucks;
• completion of the new station footings;
• removal of existing and installation of the new station platform ramps;
• installation of conduits and cables for electrical equipment;
• formwork, reinforcement and concrete pour works for new platform; and
• removal of excavated material from site.

What to expect

Hours of work

From Friday, 15 April 2022 until Monday, 25 April 2022, works will occur daily between 2am and 9am (weather permitting).

From Monday, 25 April 2022 until Monday, 9 May 2022, day and night works will occur continuously around the clock (weather permitting).
