Oaklands Crossing - landscaping

Sun, 09 June, 2019

The project was busy landscaping areas where major works were completed.

One of the first areas to be landscaped was the Addison Road cul-de-sac, at the southern western station access. Here the project has planted native trees including Tuckeroo and Grey Box, as well as shrubs, groundcovers and grasses including Coastal Rosemary, Creeping Boobialla and Flax Lily. You can view the landscape schedule here.

Pathway works also took place, with varying surfaces being installed including aggregate concrete, bluestone and asphalt.

As landscape works progress, more access points to and around the station became open to the public. Way finding signage was in place on site to advise this and registrations for email updates available by emailing the project team at oaklandscrossing@ptpa.com.au.
