On Friday, 23 September 2022, the PTP Alliance invited the local community to attend a Community Breakfast at the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal project site office.

The breakfast provided the local community with an opportunity to get to know their neighbours, meet the PTP Alliance team members and discuss the project progress.

Over 40 community members attended the event, as well as three pet dogs.

Attendees were able to view recent construction photos, latest news stories and design maps.

The project Community Liaison Group also attended the event to liaise with community members and gather ideas for material to place in the two time capsules that will be installed near the new Torrens Road bridge. Some great suggestions were put forwards by residents, businesses and councils.

The time capsules will be buried in late October 202 and excavated and opened in 20 years!
