Congratulations to PTPA's Winnie Zhu for winning the CCF SA Next Gen Civil Future Leader!
Civil Construction Federation SA held its 2019 Annual Awards for celebrating our people in the construction industry on Friday 5 April 2019. Two of the PTP Alliance’s staff were nominated for awards. Winnie Zhu as the Next Gen Civil Future Leader Award and Sue Dudman as Training Coordinator of the year. A testament to the great work that both of these individuals have been doing in both their careers and on the PTP Alliance.
We are very pleased to announce that Winnie Zhu won her category – and was recognised by CCF SA as the Next Gen Civil Future Leader for showing leadership in taking and implementing initiatives as well as being proactive in the industry outside of the organisation. Winnie is a hardworking and resilient leader who consistently seeks out challenging roles that offer her the opportunity to learn and build on her skills. She will take on tasks without being asked, often outside of her job description. Winnie’s leadership is very much affiliative and visionary in style, demonstrating her natural inclination to be team player, building and sustaining relationships to pull everyone together to work towards the same goal.
In her vision, the future of the industry is to have the right people for the right position, despite the gender, age, race, belief and sexual orientation, “you should be recognised for your ability not for who you are”.
From all of us here at PTPA, Congratulations Winnie, well deserved, and we look forward to you having a long rewarding career with us here in PTPA and McConnell Dowell.
